Shipping Services

Less Than Container Load Shipments

When your global cargo doesn’t require a complete freight box, we operate less than container load (LCL) deliveries. For these freights, your pieces will be wrapped and guaranteed the same way, but instead of loading directly into an overseas box, your objects will be placed into a big wooden box called a lift van. These lift vans are sealed and hermetic. They are then relocated via forklift into the overseas container along with lift vans  containing other objects.

Entire Container Package Freights

When you are relocating a larger shipment, or complete house, we will use an entire box for your belongings exclusively. Depending on the volume of your load, we will use either a 20-foot, 40-foot, or 40-foot high-cube container. The container is swept clean to assure your delivery is controlled successfully. We will bring the overseas container to your home and load it directly on-site. Then, your container will be closed and continue locked until it is delivered to your new house, unless a visual inspection is needed by customs agents.

Air Shipments

When you need items relocated fast, Corrigan Moving will use an air shipment. While much more efficient than ocean deliveries, air shipments are much more expensive as well. Therefore, most people will combine a sea shipment and an air shipment. On the air portion, many will only send the most urgent items and allow their household goods and other belongings to ship on the ocean liner. Since space is a premium on air shipments, our crews work actively to densely package as much as possible within the industry standard air shipment containers (E, D, and LDN).
